Make plans now to attend the SCOMS Annual Meeting on Friday, June 11 from 6-8 p.m. The Meeting will be held in the historic Duncan DuPre House at VCOM-Carolinas, 300 Howard Street, Spartanburg. Enjoy an evening reception while networking with fellow DOs. SCOMS will present the $1,000 Student Scholarship, Student DO of the Year Award, and Resident of the Year Award. The 2021-2022 SCOMS Board of Trustees will also be sworn in.

DO Promotional Campaign 

Osteopathic medicine is one of the fastest growing healthcare professions in the country and there are more than 1,500 practicing DOs in South Carolina.

On March 1, SCOMS launched a promotional campaign to build greater awareness of osteopathic medicine and the benefits of seeing a DO. This 30-second commercial is airing on Spectrum Cable in the Upstate markets and this 1-minute video is being promoted on social media. Please note: videos were filmed in compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols.
