Membership Fees and Levels
SCOMS offers multiple membership categories to welcome a variety of individuals who practice in and support the Osteopathic profession.

Special Physician Price: $160 per year, or $325 for 3-years
Physician Membership $160 per year or $325 for 3 years
- Actively practicing osteopathic physician
- Graduate of an AOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine
- Duly licensed in the state of South Carolina
- Complete the appropriate application process in accordance with the By-Laws
- Remain current with dues
- Entitled to full voting privileges and may hold office
Retired Physician Membership $125 per year
- Semi- to permanetly retired osteopathic physician
- Graduate of an AOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine
- Duly licensed in the state of South Carolina
- Complete the appropriate application process in accordance with the By-Laws
- Remain current with dues
- Entitled to full voting privileges
Military Membership $125 per year
- Osteopathic physicians who are in the service branch of the United States military
- Stationed in South Carolina or claim South Carolina as their home state
- Graduate of an AOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine
- Holds an active state medical license
- Complete the appropriate application process in accordance with the By-Laws
- Remain current with dues
- Entitled to full voting privileges
Out-of-State Physician Membership $75 per year
- Actively practicing osteopathic physician
- Graduate of an AOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine
- Holds an active state medical license
- Complete the appropriate application process in accordance with the By-Laws
- Remain current with dues
Associate Membership $75 per year
- Non-osteopathic physicians or other members of the medical community
- Complete the appropriate application process in accordance with the By-Laws
- Remain current with dues
Resident or Intern Membership $50 per year
- Serving in an AOA/AGGME approved internship or residency program
- Duly licensed in the state of South Carolina
- Graduate of an AOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine
- Complete the appropriate application process in accordance with the By-Laws
- Remain current with dues
Student Membership $30 per year
- Enrolled in anAOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine
- Complete the appropriate application process in accordance with the By-Laws
- Remain current with dues
